Prof. Lingfeng Shi, Xidian University, China

Prof. Lingfeng Shi has published more than 120 academic papers in journals, including more than 100 papers in journals, more than 20 papers in domestic and foreign conferences, and more than 90 papers indexed by SCI (more than 20 IEEE journal papers, nearly 20 articles in journals above the second district of the Chinese Academy of Sciences), nearly 20 EI indexed papers, more than 20 ISP indexed papers, 19 national authorized invention patents, 1 authorized utility model, 6 national invention patents applied, 2 invention patents transferred. He has 2 textbooks and 1 academic work in English. He has won 2 second prize of provincial and ministerial science and technology progress award and 1 Outstanding teacher award in Xidian University.

Prof. Umesh C. Pati, National Institute of Technology (NIT), India

Dr. Umesh C. Pati is a Full Professor at the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, NIT Rourkela. He holds a B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering from NIT Rourkela and M.Tech. and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from IIT Kharagpur, specializing in Instrumentation and Image Processing.

His research focuses on Image/Video Processing, Computer Vision, AI, Medical Imaging, IoT, Industrial Automation, and Instrumentation Systems. He has authored three books, published over 150 articles in peer-reviewed journals and conferences, and filed four Indian patents. Dr. Pati is involved in the high-value IMPRINT project "Intelligent Surveillance Data Retriever (ISDR) for Smart City Applications."

He has visited multiple countries for research and academic collaborations and is an academic visitor to institutions in the USA and Austria. Dr. Pati is a Senior member of IEEE, a Fellow of The Institution of Engineers (India) and IETE, and a life member of several professional bodies. His biography is included in the 32nd edition of MARQUIS Who’s Who in the World 2015, and he received the Torchbearer of Education Award 2020.

Prof. Lu Leng, Nanchang Hangkong University, China

LU LENG received his Ph.D degree from Southwest Jiaotong University, Chengdu, P. R. China, in 2012. He performed his postdoctoral research at Yonsei University, Seoul, South Korea, and Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Nanjing, P. R. China. He was a visiting scholar at West Virginia University, USA, and Yonsei University, South Korea. Currently, he is a full professor, the dean of Institute of Computer Vision, the office director of Jiangxi Province Key Laboratory of Image Processing and Pattern Recognition at Nanchang Hangkong University.

Prof. Leng has published more than 100 international journal and conference papers, including more than 70 SCI papers and three highly cited papers. He has been granted several scholarships and funding projects, including six projects supported by National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC). He serves as a reviewer of more than 100 international journals and conferences. His research interests include computer vision, biometric template protection, biometric recognition, medical image processing, data hiding, etc.

Prof. Leng was awarded Jiangxi Youth May-4th Medal, and is an outstanding representative of "Innovation Talent" of Jiangxi Enterprise in "Science and Technology China", "Jiangxi Hundred-Thousand-Ten-thousand Talent Project", "Jiangxi Voyage Project", etc.

Prof. Wai Yie Leong, INTI International University, Malaysia

(Fellow IEM , Fellow IET, CEng, PEng, SMIEEE, MIEM, H.MAFEO, APEC/IntPE)

Dr. LEONG Wai Yie is an accomplished Electrical Engineer with a Ph.D. from The University of Queensland, Australia. She is a prolific author, having penned 10 books on Electronics and Biomedical Engineering. Dr. Leong is recognized for her expertise in medical signal processing, telecommunications, and her innovative research in Brain Signal Processing for EEG-based mental tasks. She has developed systems for gait analysis and upper limb tracking, with her bio-informatics techniques being commercialized by healthcare firms. Her work has enriched cultural understanding, improved quality of life, and boosted biomedical research and business innovation. Dr. Leong has been honored with awards like the IET Achievement Award 2023 and the INWES Distinguished Women In Engineering Award 2023, and she actively promotes women in technology through various international roles and organizations. With over a decade of experience, she has contributed to academic accreditation and research in biomedical signal processing, smart control, and wireless sensor networks. Dr. Leong represents women engineers in UN meetings and discussions, advocating for gender equality in STEM fields.

Assoc. Prof. T. Velmurugan, University of Madras, India

Dr. T. Velmurugan is working as an Associate Professor in the PG and Research Department of Computer Science and Applications, Dwaraka Doss Goverdhan Doss Vaishnav College, Chennai-600106, India. He elected as a Member- Syndicate, University of Madras. He holds a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from the University of Madras. He has 30 years of teaching experience. He guided more than 300 M.Phil., Research Scholars. Also, he guided 24 Ph.D. scholars and currently guiding 6 Ph.D. scholars. He has published more than 200 articles in SCOPUS and SCI indexed journals. He elected and served as a Senate Member from Academic Council, University of Madras. He has a lot of administrative experiences. He served as advisory board member to many academic institutions in and around Tamil Nadu, India. He was an invited speaker and keynote speaker for many international conferences around the world. He served as a nominated Senate Member in the Middle East University, Dubai, UAE for a period of three years. He is a member in Board of studies for many autonomous institutions and Universities. Also, he organized international Conferences and workshops. In addition, he was a resource person for various national workshops entitled "Scientific Research Article Writing and Journal Publications" and many of the recent topics in Computer Science. He is an Editorial Board Member of 10 International Journals. He also a reviewer in many peer reviewed journals like Elsevier, Springer, IEEE and IOSPress Journals etc. He is the Chair person for the Government of Tamil Nadu State for XII standard book titled as “Electronics and Hardwares”. Further, he is a visiting faculty for M.Phil., Course for various universities throughout India. His H index is 22 and i10 index is 31. His area of specialization includes  Data Mining,  Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Network Security, Big Data Analytics, Data Science and etc.

Associate Prof., Shiling Zhang, State Grid Chongqing Electric Power Company, China

Shiling Zhang is currently the editorial board member of the Chinese core journal "Insulation Materials" of Peking University and "Electrical Technology". He was awarded by IEEE Power & Energy Society China Technical Council as the “Power System Instrumentation & Measurement Satellite Committee- China” and “Innovative Sensing domestic and foreign and Monitoring Techniques Subcommittee” director. He also serves as the director of the IEEE New Sensing and Monitoring Technology Sub-Committee, and has won the Youth Medal of State Grid Chongqing Electric Power Company, the Outstanding Communist Party Member of State Grid Chongqing Electric Power Company, and the Youth Supporting Science and Technology of State Grid Company 2022 (a total of 50 people nationwide were selected as Chongqing Young Outstanding Talents in 2021).

Prof. Muhammad Asif Khan, Qatar Mobility Innovations Center (QMIC), Qatar

Muhammad Asif Khan (SMIEEE) is a Research Scientist at Qatar Mobility Innovations Center (QMIC), Doha, Qatar. He was a postdoctoral research fellow at Qatar University. He received a Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Qatar University (2020), a M.Sc. degree in telecommunication engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology Taxila, Pakistan (2013), and a B.Sc. degree in telecommunication engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology Peshawar, Pakistan (2009). He is the recipient of the Postdoctoral Research Award (PDRA) from the Qatar National Research Fund (QNRF) in 2022. He has published over 50 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters. He is a senior member of IEEE, a member of IET, and a Chartered Engineer (CEng) with the Engineering Council (UK).

Dr. Khan also serves on numerous technical committees of the IEEE and is currently an Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks and Learning Systems (TNNLS), IEEE Transactions on Consumer Electronics (TCE), IEEE Transactions on Technology and Society (TTS), and IEEE Future Directions Technology Policy and Ethics Newsletter.
